Why do you take some things personally and others not? What can help you to go deeper and let this burden down?
This is noooo easy task. And how deep you want to go with this work depends on how willing and how equipped you are to do it.
In my episode, I present four suggestions. These are four reminders, questions, and invitations to go increasingly deeper into this work:
- “What A says about B says more about A than it says about B”
- Is it really worth my time?
- Maybe it’s true? Can I get curious here?
- Why is this triggering me? Can I explore it using a lot of self-compassion?
Please watch it and see what works for you.
I hope you choose to do the work. It’s never easy but it’s always worth it.

Fascism has never been a thing of the past; now, to disregard it means to disengage from reality. As international law has crumbled, Israel is still destroying Gaza, and masked agents are snatching people of the streets in the U.S., I invite you to ask yourself how you choose to show up in this reality.

In addition to the small lies, there are definitely the big ones. This short blog posts is about one of them — or, rather, about a type of inquiry you might want to make time for this end of year.

“Let everything burn, except your desire to fight” – my year started with this writing that I saw in a beautiful graffiti project. It turns out, no matter how lovely this metaphor, the process itself can be quite heavy. And if your end of year doesn’t feel necessarily light, my piece is definitely for you.

I start a new season of Investigative Selfism by sharing a metaphor with you that appeared in a form of something very domestic. I dedicate this essay to everyone whose hearts might need some compassion this end of year.

Don’t abandon your precious self. That’s mostly it! But examples, silly jokes, and more encouragement is in my video/podcast episode, that inevitably has a political dimension.
