Let’s Get Real About Our Social Circle

“If you look at the people in your circle and don’t get inspired, then you don’t have a circle. You have a cage.”

Nipsey Hussle

I promised you my fourth season would be all about getting real.

Well, I start by getting real about the importance of our social circle: because after this strong quote above, I don’t think anyone wants to admit that that circle might be getting cage-like.

So let’s see – let’s get honest, let’s get REAL – how it really is. Let’s take that inventory.

The questions I’m inviting you to ask aren’t comfortable (but that’s the point):

How is that circle, really?
How do the people in your life make you feel?
When you talk about ‘creating value’, what do you mean?
And is there something you can consciously change?

In short: yes, there is, but it all starts with that awareness (yep, can’t escape that one).

I also share my stories that include both being in a small town and switching continents 👀

Be an active participant in your own life ❤️

The Fires, The Multiple Fires

“Let everything burn, except your desire to fight” – my year started with this writing that I saw in a beautiful graffiti project. It turns out, no matter how lovely this metaphor, the process itself can be quite heavy. And if your end of year doesn’t feel necessarily light, my piece is definitely for you.

On One of The Forms of Smallness

There are those with platforms who aren’t ashamed or embarrassed to speak out, even when their ideas don’t seem to agree with logic (but with arrogance and ignorance – yes). Let’s use it as a frustrating reminder not to hold our voices back.
