Tips on How to Care Less About What Others Think of You — By One Awesome Lady!

No, these tips on how to care less aren’t by me — they’re by someone who I like a lot and who’s in fact very known.

Mel Robbins!

I had a long bus ride the other day (“six hours of podcasts, yay!”) and was listening to this specific podcast episode and I just HAVE to share it with you.

It relates a little bit to my previous episode on how to manage our desire to form an image on social media. But Mel’s episode is on a broader – and such an important – topic.

“Just don’t care about things!” is one vague piece of advice. Also, you probably want to care about SOMETHING.

So I really liked what frameworks Mel gives in this episode, after asking her staff to share some pretty ridiculous examples of her own not caring practices.

I must say: I love people who are brave and honest, but also kind, empathetic, and aware. And these are the resources – teachers, authors, therapists, etc – that I’ve been recommending to you here for some years now.

Mel is also like that. I’d never recommend a piece of podcast or any resources where someone’s cynical and just a jerk. And especially when it comes to topics like “How can we care less?” where it’s easy to find cynicism, arrogance, and contempt.

In short, it’s a very pleasant, entertaining, and informative piece to listen to. I hope you take the time to check it out!

…and no, you don’t need to wait for a six-hour bus ride to do so ❤️

Very very interesting and much needed post. In fact we all are the victim of the thaughts to an extent that, what other will think or what people will say…. The perfect answer is just don’t care for others. Do what you can dream…
