What’s Your Currency?

There are many cool ways to ask “So what are you really about?” — and this quick post is on one of them.

It’s on a quote by Amy Poehler, a brilliant human being who has created a lot of joy for millions, I’m sure.

My video is only 2 minutes long, but I still want to write this:

The clearer you are on what you’re about, the easier it is to navigate what’s unimportant 🙏🏽

For me personally, it’s a lot about navigating various fears and insecurities, and – because of my political work – not paying attention to comments who are completely disrespectful, show no knowledge of what my work is about, or are simply personal attacks on, for example, my gender or where I’m from 💁🏽‍♀️

Because navigating THAT would distract me from what’s actually important.

Feeling pressured to be a certain way would distract me from being how I myself have decided I want to show up.

So…yeah, a lot to reflect here on a quick quote!

I hope you’re clear about YOUR currency, about YOUR message, and what’s the work so important that you can really disregard the noise 🙏🏽

PS. Here’s that video with a still where I look, according to me, “a big child” 😅

How Do We Choose to Operate in Times of Fascism?

Fascism has never been a thing of the past; now, to disregard it means to disengage from reality. As international law has crumbled, Israel is still destroying Gaza, and masked agents are snatching people of the streets in the U.S., I invite you to ask yourself how you choose to show up in this reality.
