There are the things you say when you actually want to shout them.
This is how my political commentary has felt for the past years. Because it is about the world that neither you nor I can escape.
Have you noticed how this world has been?
If yes (and if you’re following my work here, I bet it is a YES), you, too, might be feeling a heaviness that doesn’t go away. The simple answer to why it is like this is this: because it cannot.
My video is on the heaviness of existing in the world where crimes are being committed against my and your humanity continuously. And if you’re following what’s happening in Palestine, this is what you might feel every day.
I invite you to acknowledge it, hold it with compassion, and continue taking action so that we don’t have to live in this kind of world.
It’s a crossover between Investigative Selfism and my more political project, The Exploding Head. Find it here.
If you can’t commit to the full video, I invite you to watch and share an excerpt from my video below:
As always, stay strong but keep your heart open ❤️

If you find value in my videos, I invite you to support my independent political commentary by inviting me to a virtual coffee or by covering some of my hosting fees.

We can call it war propaganda (as we should), but we can also use another rather popular concept: gaslighting. This is what is being done to us on a global scale, as the U.S.-Israel war on Iran is being waged. That’s why, if you’re feeling that you might be losing your mind when you watch the mainstream media, indeed, that is the point.

We don’t expand our humanity by bowing down to those who preach their own supremacy. We only lose it. Therefore, I invite you to protect it.

With fascism on the rise, I share an extended metaphor with you that might be a reminder you were looking for. To keep on going, to keep on speaking out, and to keep on showing up for what matters.
Continue readingHow Do We Choose to Operate in Times of Fascism?
Fascism has never been a thing of the past; now, to disregard it means to disengage from reality. As international law has crumbled, Israel is still destroying Gaza, and masked agents are snatching people of the streets in the U.S., I invite you to ask yourself how you choose to show up in this reality.

In addition to the small lies, there are definitely the big ones. This short blog posts is about one of them — or, rather, about a type of inquiry you might want to make time for this end of year.
