Can we base our desire to change and grow on something destructive?
Unfortunately, I think that is possible.
For us not to do that – and to make sure we’re basing our learning goals, intentions, and other objectively beautiful aspirations on something healthy – we have to talk about shame.
In my video and podcast episode, I:
- explain the difference between shame and guilt,
- why shame is not your friend,
- how we can approach shame, and
- what’s a healthier base for us to base our growth and learnings on.
In short, shame is not a good house for us to live in. There are much better environments we can choose for ourselves.
